Capellias Reborn Babies is a mother and daughter run professional artist making of high quality reborn dolls in Sweden since 2005. We are both teachers, one is now retired and one is still working as a teacher. Creativity and crafts of different kinds has always interested both of us professionally and private. It was by coinsidence we came across the artform of reborning dolls. We had been collecting dolls for some years and it was while surfing the Internet that one of us discovered the reborn dolls. We were fascinated by the transformance a common play doll could go through and become a beutiful reborn doll. A fabric made, mass produced, pale and without expression doll became realistic, full of expression, babylifelike and one-of-a-kind OOAK. Several different steps and hours lays behind a reborn doll but it is an exciting and fun work. Our interest in developing our skills in this artform increases with each year. We are so happy and pleased to know that our dolls attract a lot of positive attention and that fact encourages us to strive for new achievments.
